Hair Loss Treatments revolve around the scalp but what about your hair? Hair is made of many layers with the innermost being the cortex and the outer is the cuticle. When the hair is not growing properly such as with Hair Loss and Hair Thinning the layers of the hair can be compromised.
This is when a prescriptive Hair Shampoo and Hair Conditioner are required to be used with Hair Loss Treatments. Scalp Cleansers associated with Hair Loss Treatments should not be used as a Hair Shampoo unless your hair is less than 15cm long.
Hair types that require a prescriptive hair shampoo and hair conditioner with Hair Loss Treatments:
- Hair longer that 15cm
- Coloured hair
- Curly hair
- Chemical treated hair
- Dry hair
Just a reminder that scalp is skin, don’t wash your scalp skin with a hair shampoo before, during or after Hair Loss Treatments.
